Because the Bible is the inspired Word of God, we are committed to equipping Christians — through the preaching and teaching of God’s Word — to follow Christ on a daily basis.
We value people as God’s most precious creation whom He loves dearly and longs to establish a relationship with. Since people matter to God, they must matter to His church.
The Church has been commissioned to passionately seek out the lost. We strive to effectively communicate God’s truth plainly and pointedly, and to demonstrate the relevance of God’s Word to our everyday lives in order to liberate us to live rightly. At the same time, while the church should be culturally relevant, it must also remain doctrinally pure.
Nothing truly significant can happen apart from prayer! Prayer enables us to connect with God and His power, and so we are devoted to constant, fervent prayer.
We are never so much like God, as when we give. We believe in generous outreach to our surrounding community, and want to be known as the church where people joyfully serve to the benefit of others and God’s kingdom.
God delights in making His children uniquely different. We are committed to maintaining “unity within diversity” and doing God’s work in teams where our individual differences blend together to produce a beautiful harmony.
Developing great Christian families is essential for the building up of the church. We are committed to equipping families with Biblical truths that will result in stronger marriages, more effective parenting, and well-grounded children and youth.
God has given every Christian spiritual gifts to be used to build His kingdom through ministry. We are committed to helping Christians discover their God-given gifts and guiding them to serve in ministries that are consistent with their giftedness, temperaments and talents.
Church leaders should demonstrate integrity and faithfulness to Christ, and be examples of righteousness for the congregation and community. The church should be led by Christ-followers who have embraced its beliefs, purpose, vision and these core values.
Perfection is an unattainable goal, this side of heaven. But, a spirit of excellence honors God and inspires people, so we will strive to give God our best efforts. We will be a people who stay true to the vision He has given us in our goals, strategies and decisions. And we will strive to not limit Him in any way.
