Maranatha
The single Biblical use of the word is found in 1 Corinthians 16:22.
The word itself is a hybrid word consisting of two Aramean words, “Maran” and “athah“, and means both “Our Lord has come” and “Come Lord!” depending on the context.
Community
A “community church” grows out of the life of the surrounding area. It is literally a native product of the people, needs and life of the community.
But a “community church” is also a place for people to build authentic friendships in the midst of people who know, love, and care for one another.
Church
A group of believers organized in covenant relationship for worship, fellowship and service, practicing and proclaiming common convictions, while growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
