Membership

Church membership is very important to us at Maranatha Community Church. It’s not about adding your name to a roster … it’s about connecting with the people and the vision of this church! (For a list of Frequently Asked Questions about Membership, click here.)

A member at Maranatha Community Church is someone:

* who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
* who has been baptized by immersion
* who has completed the Discovering Maranatha class
* who is committed to our beliefs, purpose and values and
* who is actively involved in the five essentials:
worship, community, growth, service and missions.

If you are looking for a church home or wanting to learn more about the ministries and programs at Maranatha Community Church, we invite you to come to church several times to see and experience the difference our church can make in your life. If Maranatha Community Church seems like the church for you, we invite you to join us for one of our upcoming orientation classes.

We want you to know our vision, our values, our purpose, and our structure before you before you decide to become part of our church family. Our Discovering Maranatha class is a great way to do this.

In this 2-hour seminar taught by our founding pastor you will become familiar with our church … from the history and vision of the church to our core values and beliefs. This class also provides the opportunity to learn more about what it means to be committed to Christ and how to become a member. No matter your spiritual background, this class starts you on your personal journey with Jesus Christ and Maranatha Community Church:

1. What it means to be a Christian
2. What it means to be a Baptist Christian
3. What it means to be a Seventh Day Baptist Christian
4. What it means to be a member of Maranatha Community Church
