PURPOSE:

This team is responsible for cleaning all public-facing areas area of the church, including the sanctuary, bathrooms, meeting areas, and offices.

DESCRIPTION:

One of the many ways volunteers bless our church by working behind the scenes is through the housekeeping ministry. Each week, they keep our facilities sanitary, aesthetically-pleasant, and ready for the other ministries that rely on cleanliness and order. 

Because their activities are most often done outside normal open hours of the church, the church’s housekeeping volunteers are often among the unsung heroes of the church working behind the scenes. But, since a clean church is such a vital part of presenting the church favorably to members and visitors alike, this team’s work is of immeasurable value.

Team members are responsible for performing weekly cleaning in all public areas of the building, including bathrooms, sanctuary, fellowship area, offices and meeting rooms, all of which might involve dusting, mopping, vacuuming and sweeping as needed.
