PURPOSE:

To assist the church in the care of all properties and buildings; to study and recommend the use of space and furnishings as it relates to church programs and activities.

DESCRIPTION:

This team shall be responsible for the maintenance, security and repair of the facility and attached equipment.  This includes:

  • Cataloging an inventory of Church keys
  • Arranging for semi-annual church cleaning days
  • Maintaining the indoor lights throughout the facility
  • Maintaining the required smoke alarms throughout the facility
  • Recommending policies and procedures for the maintenance and use of the facility

From time to time, the needs of the church will necessitate potential adjustments to the facility. When approached about these potential changes, the Property Team will:

  • Advise the Facilities Group as to the feasibility of requested changes to the facility
  • Once properly approved, implement the requested changes
  • Manage any outside companies and/or laborers required to complete the requested changes
