Providing financial and other support to families with a financial need, as appropriate, in partnership with other churches and community resources.

DESCRIPTION:

This team will be responsible for:

• Devising and recommending benevolence/assistance policies and guidelines for the church
• Assessing requests from both outside and inside the congregation
• Determining the availability of community resources
• Based on adopted guidelines and the funds available, providing support accordingly
• Following up on recipients, encouraging them to stick to whatever life plans had been developed

Time Commitment: 1-2 hours a month
