PURPOSE:

This team plans and promotes church-wide social events and recreational activities that further facilitate community building and fun.

DESCRIPTION:

The Fellowship Team is responsible for planned meals (potlucks, banquets, etc.) at the church:

• Planning each event’s theme, identifying needed resources (i.e., food items, kitchen supplies, staffing needs, etc.), as well as room preparation and cleanup.
• Planning and managing recreational church group activities throughout the year (church camping weekends, beach trips, game nights, church socials, potlucks, Sabbath outings and other events, etc.) with enough variety to appeal to as many church members and attenders as possible.

The members of this team may be asked to prepare food items, purchase or arrange for food or decorations, plan ahead, serve or host the event, or clean-up following the event. A core group of go-to volunteers is needed to form the heart of this team, but volunteers from the church at large could choose to help with a single event or ask to be added to the team.
